I am a freelance translator, I translate into Italian from English, Arabic or Spanish. I was born in Italy, I am a mother-tongue Italian speaker, and I have been living most of my life, in Italy. After completing my electronic studies at high school, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages for International Communication, University of Turin.
Translating means writing, or rather rewriting. Before being a "writer", the translator is primarily a "message interpreter". To interpret the message of the source texts, it is not enough for translators to have a perfect command of their native language, they also need in-depth knowledge of different languages, cultures, mentalities, customs and traditions, and of course of one or more specific fields.
